Hey, I was expecting you guys to show a little love tonight. I think we need to get away from our idea of the team. It is no longer the flashy players of the past years. Also don't know why this was a guaranteed win game. It's the NHL and the Blackhawks are not that far below us in the standings. We wanted a tougher team from last year and we are getting secondary scoring. I thought it was a gutsy win. Limited their shots too.

Berube was an asinine hire. His hockey is joyless. I couldnt atand that Blues team which requird a historical anomoly not to win but to even make the playoffs.
I am almost sympathetic to the players joyless play. Its how Berubes coaching makes you feel as a fan of the sport of hockey.

I have been waiting for a while now for for any one of the numerous talking heads that cover the leafs to give this take. Thank you! Please, Maple Leafs management, don’t give the players an out. Don’t let them off the hook by massively remaking the team at the trade deadline. Don’t change coaches. Let these players live with this for the rest of the season. Let them really struggle. Let them pull themselves out of this funk. And hopefully, hopefully, we will finally see some real growth, ownership, maturity out of this group of entitled players%
Matthews at this stage should have at least Morgan Geekie's goal total and be in top 10 scoring. But the Leafs just do not have it this year. Cannot get excited by them pulling it out against the Bedardless Hawks.
