Don't tank.. rather take the wheel and steer. Tanking is an equation that involves variables and intangibles that you have no control over. Hence the term "lottery". The alternative is dig in and give it your best. Some walk away from a fight and some take it to them. Mentality mind set is a tool.. use it wisely.

I won't lie I was very happy to not watch Hughes skate around for 60 minutes with the puck on his stick. As far as trades go, I think both teams hot what they needed.

Canucks did well IMO , they got a haul of players and a pick ! Thats a win IMO . It’s never easy giving up a great player , but sometimes it has to be done .
