yknow whats funny, i agree with this video, pasta contributes a ton to both zacha and geekes goals/points, but pasta was just out for like 5 games and geeke went on an absolute RUN.

Geekie just put up 5 goals in 5 games while pasta has been injured. Everyone keeps saying he can't keep up the shooting percentage and is gonna cool off or he's just a pasta merchant. It's been over a year of him playing like this though, doesn't make sense but he might just be elite

The Bruins were terrible last season and Pasta still put up those performances. He should have won the MVP but I know the team has to make the playoffs for that to happen.

Good video, but I think you underestimate Geekie a bit there. His only downfall is his skating but this season he's showing he has good senses too and he proved that when Pasta was missing for couple of games this season and he still scored like crazy. Maybe David has taught him a thing or two during their time together.

A lot of people are commenting about geekie keeping up while pasta’s been out. I think what’s happened and what will continue to elevate geekie is that pasta gave him confidence.
The latter being part of the perfection line taught him what it takes to be the best. Pasta recognizes geekie’s potential to take his former spot while he can slot into the Bergeron roll. A little less D and a little more O, but still an elite playmaker.
All Boston needs now is an infuriating all around talented center/ left winger and the perfection is back.

Did Morgan Geekie ever take1st place? I thought MacKinnon was in 1st place since the 3rd week till now. Geekie is in 2nd with 22 & The Nate Dogg MacKinnon is in 1st with 25. I dont think he ever was in 1st place this season

I remember watching him in Seattle after the expansion draft and I really liked how he was playing, so I was stoked when Boston picked him up. I'm excited to see him keep progressing, and I'm really loving him and Pasta as a line
It goes to show the GM's don't know crap. They always draft busts high in the 1st round and pass on stars. Example: 2018 draft Filip Zadina 6th, Quinn Hughes 7th or Kotkaniemi 3rd, Brady Tkachuk 4th. In 2014 Pasta went 25th, LOL!!! And don't forget 2016 Puljujarvi 4th, Matthew Tkachuk 6th. They overpay free agents who can't play no more with to much for to long. Example: The Pens signed Ryan Graves. AND NOW THIS. YIKES!!!

As a Boston fan for the last 25 years, I credit Bergeron for helping Pasta transition from a shoot first, on the rush winger to a complete two-way forward who has improved his passing immensely. At first Pasta excelled by playing with Bergy and Marchand, and now he's taken what he's learned and used it to give Geekie lots of high percentage looks.
As a Bruins fan, I approve.
Feeling so validated in my saying that Geekie was a sneaky good signing for the Bruins in 2023. I remembered watching him in the playoffs for the Kraken the previous year and being really impressed.
