Sens need Angel Reese
I’m getting so tired of this team.
it's sad we made too many D-men misatkes for a while. Boys always can find ways to lose game, so sad
I 100% agree regarding Kleven. The amount of comments I have seen about him being horrible and costing us many games is just ridiculous. He did do a mistake tonight absolutely but the guy is a third line D that was asked to fill in Chabot’s shoes. This is a huge task for anyone, especially a young defenceman. I also think Jensen should have been on the ice at the end. People have been hard on him all year (and he has not been great overall for sure) but the last 2 games he has played really well. And to all the Chabot haters, this just shows how much not having him in the lineup has been a struggle. Love Pinto and I hate that he isin’t there but the offence has been doing fine.
51 games left. We have a lot of non Canadian players who are gonna come back with a vengeance after team Canada stomps them at the Olympics. The entire league is not quite normal right now and the Wild are on a high after the trade yesterday. I'm okay with this. Kyper and Bourne had Doug MacLean and Paul Maurice on yesterday and I highly recommend that all Sens fans watch that episode. It really took my panic level down a few notches. We're above 500, gonna get big time help when Chabot and Pinto come back. Sens nation has red ice in our veins. Adversity is our friend right now. GO SENS GO
Stop blaming kleven , all ottawa players were on one side leaving wild player all alone that resulted in the Goal .
"MacMagic jinxed by LOSP" headline reads… lol tough loss but a good comeback from the boys great fight from Greig stick tapps to him
This team needs to smarten up, all we've done is move our awful Novembers to December
BRADY TKATCHUK SHOULD GO PLAY SOCCER WHAT A DIVER!!!!
Ask yourself this, can you legitimately win a cup with this roster?
Because that was Minnesota without 2 D men, Sturm, Zucc, Foligno and Hinostroza. And let’s not even forget they didn’t even have Hughes yet.
Yet, the sens are this bad without 2 players in pinto and Chabot. This isn’t even a real NHL team with paper thin depth…
I would have easily made that glove save finland can't catch
I'm not really buying the "we got goalied" narrative here. Wallstedt did play well, but it's easy to stop pucks that hit you in the chest. The Sens had loads of opportunities to shoot with the top of the net open, but they seem incapable of raising the puck. You might mention the "brilliant" glove save Wallstedt made at one point (don't recall the Sens shooter), except the shot was straight into his glove. A couple inches higher and you score. Kleven's brutal giveaway might have condemned them to a loss today, but with the chances they had, it shouldn't have mattered. This core is supposed to be elite, but it's a mystery as to why they can't seem to score 5-on-5. Meanwhile, every team we seem to play only needs a half chance and the puck is in the net.
I been saying it often at post casts: This team needs a dynamic top 6 that can score to go along with Stutzle. Ottawa is not a dangerous team, nobody is scared of them making a 1on1 heartbreaker play in the last 5 mins of the game, which is why they always getting pressured in the last 5 mins when the game is tied. They have no firepower, no finish.
To be fair, no game is a guaranteed win as we witnessed tonight.
I felt Sens played overall pretty good. Pesky. Some strong forecheck and Levi A+ Too bad on Kleven's attempt out.
Should have been a point for sure. Good effort without Pintz / Shabby…. Eller.
Correct Pillzy ….. re. Spence and Sandi. P3.
4-1 lead on NJ…. aghhh. Buffalo has our # lately.
