UPDATE: Samuel Montembeault will be backing up Jacob Fowler tonight. Dobes will spend a 2nd straight game in the press box
Hughes getting traded out of Vancouver, should be all in for EP40, gotta get a trade done.
He is Him 💪💪
4-2 for the Habs
The Habs will when tonight. Josh, great video. Enjoy your excitement. thanks Kevin from HFX
Xhekaj never should have come out of the line up. It’s just proves it’s never been about merit.
Love that Engstrom is still in! Beck got robbed needs his first goal!! I wouldn’t have minded a Fowler vs Jarry rematch on Sunday though. Can’t wait for another full weekend of Habs hockey!! GO HABS GO!!
It’s crazy that they’re giving Fowler another start back to back, but they were flipping Montenbeau and Dobes whether they were playing good or not… Finally doing things, right!
Glad to see Fowler starting tonight. Keep Beck in the lineup and bench Schmoe Veleno.
So excited for tonight! As a Habs fan living in NYC I’ve had these tickets for months. Never expected to see Fowler in his first week as a pro!
They have really done Dobes dirty! No accountability for how crappy Montensieve has played ALL YEAR! If I were Dobes I would ask for a trade, Marty has never givin Dobes the net despite his impressive 10-3-1 start. Anyone would lose confidence if they kept being told they were backup to a sieve like Monty! Need a reminder how good Dobes was, check out his stats before Marty named Montembeault the starter despite being totally outplayed by Dobes!
Beck is in there besides him playing well he plays centre and is great at faceoffs
4 or 5 to 1 , Loss , sorry guys
Valeno should be used as spare parts only. I would never sit Jackeye. He makes the others play 20lbs heavier and 2” taller.
Are we ever gonna call up mesar lool
You say "look" way too much.
I predict Rempe will avoid Arber like the sissy he is.
Team Canada is training at my arena
I’ll put money that Montembault is the back up MSL for some reason LOVES Montembault !!! How did we get smoked by the Rangers we lost by one goal !?!? I remember that game we lost it in the last minute in regulation so in my opinion how is that getting smoked ?! 😂
Where is David Reinbacher in all this? 😮
Do concern that Fowler plays too much that he would be expected to save the team. Even though the Habs won vs the Pens, defensive play was still a bit sloppy, but at least they clogged up the slot more. Remember what happened with Carey in his first few years and it caused Halak to be overinflated for a single playoff season. Btw Josh, the Rangers are a more physical team with Rempe around which was not present with the Pens.
He's looked like Carey Price against the Penguins. You can't not play that guy. It's a no-brainer.
Get Veleno out of there and put in Florian
Struble is probably on the way out. Dobes can be sent down without worrying about being picked up on waivers. If Fowler proves himself in the next few games, Dobes is the odd man out due to the fact that they don't have to worry if he is picked up on waivers. Engstrom will stay if he can prove he belongs. He is NHL material.
In the 1950's and 60's Sam Pollock, manager of the Habs, and probably the best one they ever had, would bring up young rookies when the team was falling apart.
No Bryce Pickford on the team tells me everything i need to know about the goofy ass management in charge of building the roster. Incompetence at its finest.
45 is too small 47 too unreliable
Really want Beck to score, he has the D first mentality, great on faceoffs, has solid physicality. He needs to play with someone who can get him ops, to develop.
The only injury Evans has would be his back from carrying that -16.
