The Edmonton Oilers acquired goaltender Tristan Jarry from the Pittsburgh Penguins’ on Friday morning in exchange for Brett Kulak, Stuart Skinner and a 2nd round pick. While Jarry has had his ups and downs as an NHL goalie, he was in the AHL as recently as last year, he is a notable upgrade on the performance on the Skinner/Calvin Pickard Tandem.

I thought it was pickard going????? I don’t like that trade, we needed someone to push skinner damit
Unless Oilers win the cup this is a brutal trade. Should've kept Slinner and made it work to push Skinner to be better !
Jarrys advanced metrics are sneaky good
Thanks for taking Jarry off our hands!!!! Best day ever for a penguins fan
they should have gotten rid of NURSE and bouchbag!!! as well
A lateral move, at BEST. 🤦♂️
Jarry is welcome to prove me wrong, but right now, I'd rather have kept Skinner.
As a former goalie it would be incredible if a single media person on any type of platform would bring up all the negative stipulations that have come in to effect for goalies in the 3ish decades. Reducing equipment size, crease and trapezoid. This has been all in the name of increasing goals in the NHL for excitement. Yet every single media source will harken back to save percentages from the late 90’s to 2000’s. People wanted more goals and got more goals. With that expectations on goalies stats should equally adjusted
Congratulations on Rollercoaster Jarry more importantly thanks for taking the contract.
