Nothing is going down,
I think we have full season Slaf this year
Hage is not NHL WORTHY AT THIS TIME. JUST FYI. DORSNT COMPETE ENOUGH.
No to both Danult and Oreilly. Look at Danaulta stats! Brutal! Good at draws that’s about it! Ride it out until someone special comes available!
I think Slaf played better when with the demidov line, he carried the puck more, played with more confidence. With suzukis line he gets rid of the puck too quickly. Its noticeable the last few games when back on the 1st line. He is still making some insanely good passes that didnt result in goals but overall he was more dominant when leading his own line. I would try tessier on the 1st line. He makes quick reads to and i think would do well with suzi and cole… and it will unleash slaf on the 2nd line.
Daneault can keep eating california rolls. He quit on the team for a better opportunity when he had the chance.
The amount of money he lost in sponsorships is way more than the salary he got in LA and the excuse of wanting more minutes and deciding to play 2C in LA.
Daneault burned his bridges to Montreal and any future commenting job.
Stamkos is what the Habs need. If a trade is to happen, the Preds will have to eat a good chunk of his salary.
I used to like Danault but now he could stay there. He was offered a good contract with Montreal but he took LA for $750,000 more per year. No thanks.
Ryan O'Reilly is a horrible option for the Habs. He got out of Toronto because he hated the pressure of playing in such an intense hockey media market. He would hate Montreal too.
Why do you have all old guys. Habs need young. Danult is a step backwards. I hope we don’t give up young good prospects when we’re still in a rebuild.
O'Reilly…yes
Donut hell no !!!
PD is useless now. 3rd line centre at best. Cost to much….
Makes little sense to go for Danault.. they could just kept Dvorak if they wanted an expensive experienced low scoring, penalty killing faceoff specialist
Dylan Holloway
Let's just keep the young guns develop we're not going for the Stanley cup this season. 😊
Trades you win come when you trade from a position of strength and centre depth is not montreals strength it’s their weakness . And Pickford 1000% should have been selected for team CAN ! Shout out to the byes , you two host a great show . Been following since the early days and this show has come so far . Cheers boys from Cape Breton NS
O’Reilly is fine but to trade Hage for him is insane. This team isn’t contending this year with Monty and Dobes and our injuries, so why give up on a great prospect who wants to be in Montreal for someone to what, get us in the playoffs? We probably make it anyway. Whoever thinks this is a good idea is dreaming.
There's no "smoke" about Danault. Nobody's talking about him, for good reason (I used to be a fan, but he's done).
Slaf has the less points for a first line player guys, let's stop getting excited.
A first and reinbacher for o relly isn’t bad
Problem is Danault's cap hit would be a problem and if the Habs want to totally avoid using LTIR relief (moment they do, it will cause $3-4M overage cap damage for next season as it will be tagged vs the performance bonuses). Veleno as we have seen is Evans' backup in the faceoff dot. Btw Josh, O'Reilly's trading price was known for weeks and not a chance in hell (most likely a TOP contending team will trade for him). Never trust Fakeout Friedman.
Blah blah blahblah
Slaf 1st or 2nd, doesn't matter. He can work with both and make them better. It's on Marty to decide where he's needed right now in the situation where many key players are out.
