Josh? Jesse? GUYS??? C'mon. What this game glaringly exposed was just how badly HuGo has decimated our depth with 'hail-Mary' trades. We have two lines…most of which HUgo inherited from Bergie. And they've gone 'one step forward, two steps back' ever since.

HuGo had ONE job that needed to get done this summer, and ONLY one…that was to find a legit 2C. Instead they doubled down on Dach there, and threw away two firsts & Heineman for a guy we didn't need in Dobson. Both decisions have been a DISASTER. Our window has gotten shorter and a lot less narrower because of it. Time to seriously take stock of HuGo's performance. It hss been regressive across the board.

Problem was the defensive coverage for most of the goals was bad….especially in the slot. Goal #3 was somewhat bad with Dobson leaving the slot to support leaving Matheson in the area (but he was screened out). Struble and Carrier got caught behind the plays leaving their partners in a tough situation.
You want to make a simple switch goalies take Binghamton and put him in our net and take Dobson from the other night and who wins.
Gallagher needs to rest he’s trying to help but ultimately he’s hurting the team when he plays injured.
The 4th St. Louis goal was a gift from the referees. 😮

Veleno… I think he’s NHLer , but lets be realistic he’s not gonna carry a line, so if we are putting rookies and other slumping players, ain’t gonna look good, veleno needs to be a filler not the focal point of a line… Blais seems due for a call up
Gallagher , the injury makes sense, seems off, slow or lack strength … so he’s likely toughing it out till someone comes back … never doubt the heart of this guy

We VASTLY outplayed them for 57 out of 60 minutes. Those two goals in 39 seconds were basically scored while the guys were still in the locker room

Habs were gettin beat to puck in defensive zone bring bac FLORIAN… MSL needs to go we cant depend on 1 line all the time… Best D last night was Arber Carrier hung him out to dry 2 on 1… I miss Scotty Bowman.
