    First overall it not his fault that he is a last line and 2PP and he probably score if he was a first PP don’t get me wrong buldoc Nick Cole and slaf and Huston are good but if you put laine he will score like 10 gaols

    The team can win without Laine in the lineup. I don't have a crystal ball, but I can't see him being extended.

    FINALLY someone agrees with me yes exactly Johnny! Well last season I got some of his appeal. But people argued he was worth his 8.7. Like he was an elite star? Then I brought up 5 on 5 stats and everyone acted like it doesn't matter since his Powerplay numbers. I dont think in all honesty he's BAD. He's actually looked imo a lot better than last season. But idk the fact THIS is an 100% Laine with a full off season confidence AND healthy? I'm not too pleased i think a team like the Islanders or Flyers who just need PP scoring rn could definitely use him. And they have some solid players I could definitely see being good fits for us. So yeah tbh I think we should.

    I wouldn’t mind him being on the lineup as much for like 2.5 million, but just under 9 million is uhhh…. a lot. Doubtful he ever gets a contract for that kinda money again unless things completely turn around. I think he has the skill, but is always 2 steps behind so can never use it. I was kinda hoping if they played him similar to how the caps play Ovi, that they might find some success but i dunno…
