I have never missed the Sedins cycle ever! And I thought back then that it was boring AF! Why does our offense always start at the point and push out our wingers to the boards??? I mean, aren't they paid to be offensive? Wingers are supposed to be our shooters, yeah? I'm starting not to like how this team is not making plays and are hoping for the best from a shot on the point. Why can't we make any back door plays, any east to west passes, give and goes or cycle down low to allow our forwards to generate offense? We might as well have our defense have blindfolds on and just hope for the best that the puck goes through for our wingers to make a play on it. I'm not saying that the team should stop doing this, but we need to do more than just shoot from the point to get greasy goals. Hughes needs to do his job and play D and let our forwards do what they're paid to do.

First period should have been 4-0. 8-2 Nucks after two with the chances they had. Squeezing the sticks hard over the last five games. Our PP is really bad.
Why try for dirty goals, why not create an efficient system to score goals and move the puck better up the ice?
This is what we get when the owner is cheap and insist on just elevating Foote to head coach status by paying him just a tad more than when he paid as Asst coach, so instead we don't have to pay more by hiring proven coaches who were available at the time like Quenville, DeBoer, and the likes. What we need is a new owner.
