Leafs now only 3 points back of 2nd place in Atlantic Division (Ottawa). If Leafs didn't have their problems, would have never had to address the underlying problems, would have been hidden until playoffs. Stanley Cup Champs Florida takes Leafs place as last in Eastern Conference. Stecher, 4 points in 7 games, +6. Replacing him for Myers and maybe Mermis big difference.
