  1. Ideally the Oilers keep Skinner but find an upgrade that challenges him or potentially replace him as a number 1. I would hate to watch Skinner leave and get better like Devon Dubnyk.

  2. Remember when Edmonton traded down so that Minni could draft Wallstedt and we didn’t need a goalie?!!?!?

  3. The Oilers are better off trading Skinner a 2027 5th and a 2028 3rd for Laurent Brossoit. Chicago will retain $700K to make this deal equal in cap

  4. My fear is no upgrade and Stu goes into the playoffs as the starter. There is a great argument to be made if the oil had .905% in the playoffs they would at least have 1 cup.

  5. You can't compare Ullmark to Skinner. Skinner is like the weather, not a slow-starter, not a occasionally bad, but rather an occasionally good. I do not see nor do I remember a 'body of work' that proves that Skinner is 'good', but rather a 'body of work' that proves that Skinner is bad and lacks skills. You are biased Darren.

  6. Team is way too soft. Very little grit and forwards are so quick to leave their own end of the ice. If the D turn over the puck their our out manned and even if the forwards come back they are lazy AF. Watch Oilers change. They take their sweet time. When they back check same thing. Maybe spend some energy on the back check. Skinners lateral movement is subpar. He stops pucks when they hit him. Here is the Oiler upgrade in goal . JACOB FOWLER from Laval property of Montreal. The next Carey Price.

  7. If there's one thing Skinner is really good at, it's being able to pull a rabbit out of his hat and get a shutout at the very last second before the fan base drags him out by the ears, and make them believe in him again… That's how he reached back to back finals, also why they lost both times.
