  1. I don't understand the interest for Kyrou, considering our need at center… if anything I would inquire about Thomas as others have mentioned… or Dalibor Dvorsky… but they are probably not available. If not, I'd just sit on our assets to be able to offer a major package for a young up and coming center (e.g. utah, seattle have a lot of centers and some other teams will draft centers this summer and then have surplus)

  2. This is just one report, from a "source". We've heard much different reports from different "sources", here in St. Louis, concerning the trade for Kyrou. Michael Hage, reportedly was the ask from Armstrong as we hear it, and t involved other pieces as well…
I did you a favor, and I researched Jordan Kyrou's face off %…Not that that's the only duty of a Center, but it is a key component. Kyrou in the NHL, has taken 73 face offset, since he's been in the Blues control. He has a 39 % win rate…So not only has he never played center forvthe Blues, when asked to step into the face off circle, he's not very prolific. Kyrou does not defend the puck well, he has been benched quite often ,near the end of close games, just because he's a liability in coughing up the puck. Coughing up the puck, and not being able to protect to it, are 2 other key factors in being a Center. Kyrou can make some awesome passes, but when he's pressured, forget it…But if you and the Canadians, believe Kyrou is your answer to a 2nd line center, have at him, the results will be equal to the Blues evaluation of Logan Mailloux, being a NHL ready Dman, and we all see how that worked out.
Speaking of Mailloux ( who no has 20 official NHL games under his belt), has been back up from the minors, for 3 or 4 games now. He's yet to rack up points, but he has played "much better" defense, hasn't been the liability he first was, has looked much more confident, but has not yet began producing points, to meet expectations…He's learning, he's gaining experience. Do yourself a favor and go back to last year, and look up Zack Bolduc's stats, before the 4 Nations Tournament. Keep in mind, Bolduc at that time, had right at a full year of NHL experience. Bolduc was a fledgling, that hadn't found his grove just yet, and then got impressively great, overnight. I'm not saying Mailloux is going to follow the same pattern, but all You want to do is club the kid caveman style, because he's no longer a Hab, and he's struggled. I guarantee, Your praise for him, in his 7 games with the Habs, was over the top, with the success he was having early on…Mailoux is playing in a much different system, he struggled, you've bashed the crap out of him at every opportunity, but you leave out the fact, Mailloux has 20 games to his name…The rest of this year, and not even how Mailloux performs through all of next year, are going to define Mailloux's career, nor will it Zach Bolduc's…You're the world's greatest cheerleader, until someone is no longer on (Your team – all 3 of them), and unfortunately, that isn't a great reflection on your journalist skills. When the 27 – 28 season rolls around, then we can compare apples to apples, oranges to oranges. Hopefully, you'll stop beating the drum of hate, and mature just a tad, to show anyone earning their way into the NHL (or to the heights of any major professional sports), the respect to the dedication they put in, to suit up in the uniform of their dreams…..
Please don't get me wrong, you can respectfully tell the story of downfall, disappointment and failure, but it can be done without the caveman club and mentality…Good Luck
