Is there a world where we trade Stolarz this season? So many teams need goalies, surely he can bring us a significant haul.. Play hidleby as a 2nd this season out and look for a better 2nd goalie next offseason. Might be worth concidering a gm/coach change aswell. This dump and chase bullshit gotta stop, only thing that is accomplishing is making our eyes bleed.

I would do this trade all day long if im Treliving . The money in /out lines up almost perfect I belive Reilly would waive his NMC to go to the west as he is from BC ,Kadri would defincalely waive his MNC to come back to T.O
it makes sense for both teams .It gives Reilly a fresh start elsewhere , Leafs get another ( and younger ) offensive D man back and Kadri would round out the top 6 ,Move Willy up with Austin and Knies and Kadri would center Tavares and Cowan .I LIKE it ,
I know everyone is saying to keep the 2028 1st but the LEafs have to do something to salvage this season Missing the post season would be catastrophic Unless the Flames demand Cowan be included then would take this deal off the table
They are paying these guys way too much, Nurse is a $4 million player, and so is Bouchard. If they wanted the cup, they would all take less, get the cap space wide open, and get whatever goalie you need, boys. Mcdavid showed his leadership by not taking more , now it is time for the other guys to sacrifice for the Cup. Sometimes, all the money in the world can't match the glory of succeeding.
