Do you have to be listed as a defenseman or just be playing the point and going into a scrum for the face-off to be moved to the neutral zone? Power plays usually have one defenseman and sometimes no defenseman and also usually are set up with only one pointman. How do they interpret these special cases because you can have five players in a scrum and still keep your offensive zone face-off depending on the interpretation.
