Leafs need to blow it up. Keep tavares and knies. Sell everything else
Hughes and Pettersson will ask for a trade soon. I would take Pettersson on Buffalo but I would bet he has a no trade clause, BUT Buffalo has many Swedish players, Dahlin for example

Hronek might be a fit for the Leafs
Regardless of what anyone says, Buffalo has a TON of prospects and picks to add to any trade, they could offer up this years first round pick which could be top 5-10, they had 7 first rd picks who all are NHL caliber they could add to trades, for example, Rosen, Helenius and Ostlund have all been playing great in the AHL and first two also proved recently they are NHL level and ready. Benson made the team age 18 because he’s good defensively and is looking good, had an assists a game since season started. Levi is also available, the Leafs for example if they had that many prospects and young players to trade they could get both Pettersson and Hughes as an example. What team would not love to have Buffalo’s first rd picks who this year, chances are it could be lotto pick again
Devils makes sense
I’m a Canucks fan so I’ll hit on a few things because I hear it every day lol
1. This isn’t a disaster like other years. People are sick of being in the middle and are demanding a rebuild. This is a designed blow up.
2. Everyone is available but for the right price. The main thing we’re looking for is picks and prospects. A move for svech makes no sense imo.
3. On silovs some people are attached to certain players but there’s weaknesses in his game to the fact that he wasn’t showing up to be a top goalie potential according to Canucks staff yet and they really like their 2nd round pick Medvedev as the future guy.
4. I have no idea what Foote is talking about half the time lol.
