Domi's stays healthy and they throw him on center. Put someone else there and see what he can really do. Beginning of the year he was supposed to be on Matthew's line, to now holding the line.
When Matthew's got hit, no one stood up for him. He then hits back, gets injured great. But we dont need are superstar to risk injury, guaranteed if Domi was on the ice he would have stood up for Matthew's as the whole team should. Love his energy but man his defense sucked last game lol
Domi, it isvtime to move him on trsde or something.
I think a third line of
Robertson – quillon – domi would be fast speedy and could do some damage

Roy out ! Mathews Out ! Two centers . Lorentz is not a true center. Jarnkrok is not a center .
why do they only play 5 or 9 players, same players, 3 on 3 .
The obvious answer is Jacob Quilian you mean the players that was to start opening night but then sent down because someone wanted Cowan?
Now, which brings another question regarding who makes the decisions?
Quilian should have been with the team since the start of the season !!
Quilian should be playing center taking regular shift with iether Domi or McMann on the wing !!!
Now once Knies get healthy and gets back in the lineup Knie Quilian McMann or Domi would give them a lines that can skate hit check energy .
To Steves rehtorical question who else does Berube have confidence in ! Trust to play center at this moment!
Dammed if does Dammed if he doesn't and Dammed if he makes the move Steve and others want him to make and that doesn't work iether !!!!
Quilian needs to play in every moment to see how is going to play respond act under press.
Not limit or restrict him from playing in crucial critical moments!!!

Does anyone for one second think that if Tie Domi never played for the Leafs that his son Max would be playing for them now ?
I had such high hopes for Domi, but he has become a liability. He may need to sit out for a game or two.
Why was Domi on the ice for OT last game?
You can thank him for loosing the game for the Leafs.
What were the coaches thinking putting him on the ice in OT.
They are the ones that should be fired for doing that, and not knowing how to use the talent they have, instead of trying to change the talent of the players, and they can take Domi with them.
You can nitpick the leafs to death. Even with Marner the team never played as a team. They don't stick up for each other. It is as if the core and the rest of the team do not gel. It has been the same since what seems like forever.
Kept the wrong guy! Should've given Bertuzzi what he wanted NOT Domi. Treliving dupped up!
Domi must NEVER play in OT.
The question should't be Why Max Dumi still playing centre?. but why are the leafs still in the NHL?
They’re losing their minds like domi playing center is a new thing he was 2 C two seasons ago in playoffs and praised for his face off win % and such that’s why he keeps getting slotted in there. It’s his defensive lack of awareness and discipline that kills him

Max Domi is NHL's Nepo Baby. If his last name was not Domi, he would be an AHLer at best. Only the Leafs will put this guy on the ice in the NHL. For a first round pick he turned out to be a real pylon.
I just don’t get how Domi played so well in Montreal, Chicago or Dallas (in the playoffs) …
… looked decent with the Yotes, at least on par with his first season with the Leafs.
… and then you get the Domi of CBJ, Carolina and Toronto.
And no, he was top6 for most of his career, if not first line, until he didn’t perform as expected, so it’s not his usage that explain it. In Toronto he had plenty of top6 opportunities, same in CBJ.
Also, ive never seen such a talented player struggle so much to get 10 goals + a season, but also score around 2x-3x times that here and there.
An enigmatic player, that probably should of stayed in Montreal, but that wasn’t his choice to make … just be glad you’re not stuck with the invisible way overpaid Josh “lost his hands” Anderson (the guy we got in return for Domi, for those who don’t know)!
I do not get why you guys are so high on Laughton? Most times he seems stuck in mud. Can't make a play???

Surly this all falls on one player. As it did with Marner. But hey, Toronto is way better now since getting rid of Marner.

The players aren't afraid of you, they're just smart not to tell you too much because you like to run your pretty little lips and exaggerate stories, like a bunch of teenage girls lmfao You do talk way too much.
Habs fan here. Domi was among the top scorers in Montreal when he was traded to Columbus. My initial thought was why are we trading away an 80-point forward? And then I remembered that oh yes, Domi scores, but he also goes to the penalty box too often, and when he does/did, he usually went there alone. Domi has many pluses, but he is too much of a liability, imho.
Domi's contract only looks bad now because he has never been meaningfully put back into the role that earned him the contract in the first place. of course it's going to look bad, what should we expect?
Max Domi should not be in the lineup in any position. He can't play… he is a liability when on the ice. He provides no offense, he is terrible defensively and takes stupid penalties. I understand the job market in Canada is absolutely awful right now, and nepotism is how a lot of people are finding employment… but really? In the NHL as well? Has Tie Domi bribed Brad Treliving to keep his son in the lineup?
Why is Domi still playing would be a better question.

Jarnkrok was awesome on the first line. He created turnovers and got chances. Jarnkrok is better than Cowan at this point in his career.
