What do the Boston Bruins do now? | Viewers questions
The news on Charlie McAvoy isn’t good, and he could miss an extended period. Can the Boston Bruins weather the storm without him? Mike Commito, the author of Bruins 365, joins the show, and I answer some viewers’ questions.
All of this in the latest episode from Bruins Diehards.

He should not play in the Olympics. His duty is to the Bruins and us fans.
What do you think of the podcast format?
Like the photo of your old man, front and center
So you could say mac was… spittin chicklets? π
Podcast is great. Are you doing Youtube exclusively or other podcatchers?
Apparently Mintyukov is unhappy in Anaheim. Last time we dealt with them turned out pretty good. π€π
I think this expansion into podcasting means your content officially exists within an oeuvre. Congrats and Happy U.S. Thanksgiving.
I enjoyed the show. More content the better. Also I love to hear about the top young players.
Like the podcast/ post combo. Nice change up. ππΌ
McAvoy out is huge blow.
I guess I'm a glass half empty guy. I just can't stop thinking about how good Marchand would look in this lineup and how he should still be playing with pasta.
Lack of depth haunts this team.
The injury to McAvoy is very serious. 1:39
Dislodged teeth is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg, unfortunately.
A fractured jaw can sometimes be managed non-surgically. However, when the jawbone is fractured into multiple pieces and/or there is significant trauma to the teeth, those injuries are much more severe and surgical treatment is almost always necessary.
Itβs a long recovery process after this surgery, complicated by not just pain and swelling, but also risk of malnutrition. I anticipate McAvoy is going to be absent for 2-3 months, or possibly longer.
