The Dallas Stars are on a five-game winning streak and have earned points in 12 of their last 13 games, posting a record of 9-1-3 (21 pts., 0.808) in that span. The recent results have been fantastic, but it is even more impressive when you look at the injuries the team has dealt with during this run. As captain Jamie Benn inches closer to returning from a collapsed lung and making his season debut, the Stars lost Adam Erne last Tuesday in Ottawa and Thomas Harley did not play on Saturday vs. Philadelphia. Both players expected to miss multiple weeks. Nils Lundkvist hasn’t played since October 16th, while Matt Duchene hasn’t played since October 18th. On today’s show, we will discuss the recent injuries, how they will impact the lineup and some of the salary cap moves the team might have to make as players get healthy. We will also recap last week’s games, presenting our 3 Dallas Stars of the Week, and we’ll discuss the 2025 Dallas Stars Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, where Joe Nieuwendyk and Ralph Strangis were honored on Sunday night.
