I liked the ducks a lot as a kid (despite being a New Englander) and despite my Boston faith, I'd not hate it if Corey went back to Anaheim and won a 2nd cup
Perry ending his career in Anaheim would feel right. I hope they are pushing for a playoff spot at the deadline and can pull the trigger on that deal, might be tough if the Kings are in the mix as well
In 2019 the leafs had a chance to sign Perry and elected to sign Simmonds instead. Imagine the cultural shift Perry could have provided. (Nothing against Simmer, at the time I was screaming for both)
It's really a drag the way the Kings ownership takes advantage of a great fan base. Perry is amazing but the Kings hv done nothing to make the team better. Golden Knights want to win a cup every year. Kings culture is just keep limping along with three fourth lines n one first-ish line for years now. I'm sure Perry will go somewhere n he deserves all the success he gets. Some young guys hv come into their own n that's great. But it's LA, we should hv a marque player. Sell the team to the Dodgers owners n create a winning culture again.
Perry is one of the three best players at this time in the Kings. Nobody else with the balls to take the front of the net as he does. With the exception of kopitar who will scrap occasionally in front of we have a bunch of players who take their shots from the circle. Defense is centered around Doughty who is 35 years old with the remainder being also-rans. Management has done nothing for several years to improve this team but continues to charge top of the league prices for tickets. They’re a joke.

He was so key for the Oilers in those final cup runs. Huge mistake for the Oilers not re-signing him. He brings so many key intangibles.
