What an electric playoff type game. The physicality and momentum swings was so fun to watch. These teams are gonna have some barn burners in the coming years, the league is better when the B’s and Habs are playing at a high level.
Unfortunate the injury bug is hitting us so hard this year. Hopefully Mac just needs to get stitched up then he’s back in with a bubble, and hopefully we can get Elias or Casey back soon with Arvy being out for a bit.
I hate to rain on the parade but the B's have given up at least 3 shorty's and not had one of their own this season. Holding down the fort during all that 5-on-3 time was huge, but Montreal's PP obviously is built on passing the puck around and not actually shooting it.
Tanner just simply turned off 'fight mode' on the Habs with that drop, and poor Viel can't buy a damn fight lol what an absolute juggernaut of a game, that was too good! GO B's !!!!!!!
I am an old fart and have been cheering for the Bruins for over 50 years. I agree the Bruins Habs rivalry is special. The rivalry against Toronto is different because you can see we live rent free in Toronto's head.
Serious question, is Hampus Lindholm the most important piece of this team?
Their only losing streak this year happened right after he went out with his injury and stopped right after he returned. With him in the lineup the Bruins have barely lost a game.
Bruins haven't had an OT loss so far. Only Winnipeg also unbeaten in OT. Everybody else has lost in OT (Avs have lost five) so there's that but hopefully bringing it up doesn't mean losing in OT happens in the next game.
“Maybe if I punch a guy in the face my professional athlete co-workers will get motivated to do their jobs” is just stupid. Fight to protect a teammate who was cheap-shotted.
Another player on another team took a stick to the eye a few days ago. McAvoy loses his lower face. If only it were possible to manufacture bigger visors…
McAvoy committing to the pass is exactly what I’d want my defenceman to do as a goalie – it means the goalie can fully commit to the shot as, if it’s passed and gets through, you have to trust your defender to block it. Swayman should’ve been far more aggressive on this chance and attack the shooter. Sway had a good game overall, but this wasn’t one of his finest moments in it

Embrace the violence, fuck the Habs!

I love this team, Go B’s.
How many takes did it take to say "We've matured" with a straight face? 😂
Don’t ever stop swearing.
💯 on Zellers, Letourneau, and Hagens in the pipeline….we have extra draft picks, and bodies in Providence…..❤ The swearing it means we're doing well!
LowQual great job but
So you thought the Minten penalty was holding?
Also Aspi's fault
Slow checking D should not pinch to the dot

You didn’t mention the devastating hit Mac did on Anderson, to where they almost went at it.
Agree: I wish they would stop trying to score on an empty net from their own end. All it becomes is Icing.
Swayman 8-4-0 , 2.99 GAA , .902 SV% ——-
Simon Zajicek leading AHL 5-1, 1.65 GAA, SV% 0.943

oh yeah was pissed as well Anderson chickened out

You’re pretty high on Locmelis. Can I surmise you’ve got some Latvian heritage in you or does the love come from his potential?
beating Montreal is the Bruins Stanley Cup.. I would rather win Cups!

Does the year’s winning skit get awarded the Black and Golden Globe?
That skit was so much more sexual than it had to be
Happy my Bruins won no doubt, But holy hell how many more injuries this team gonna get? Were dropping like flies. Jeez
I don’t even hate the Habs anymore. I have an overmounting respect for them. I have pivoted all my hatred to Toronto
