  1. You would never know he was 18 years old. He plays with poise like a 10 year veteran already. Sky's the limit for Schaffer indeed

  2. if anyone doesn't think this kid is a walk on for team canada give your head a shake. Same goes for Celebrini and Bedard. In with the new out with the old. Cerelli stone marchand etc.

  3. What a kick to watch this kid play every shift. Outside of his physical talent, his positioning and awareness is already elite at 18. Can’t wait to see what his ceiling is.

  4. This kid is something special. He is carrying this team. Wow. Never seen anything like it. He's no Potvin yet, but he sure is off to a historic start. Who would've thought the Isles would be doing so well this year?

  5. Never seen a young defenseman have such a tendency to just wire the thing. Seems like offensive defensemen feel like they have to distribute to produce. He looks fully comfortable breaking the mold. Charging the net, shooting, forechecking. Such a dynamic young player. So excited to watch him grow.

  6. So awesome for Isles fans and for the league that this team has something to be optimistic about. Kid’s a gamer fr fr

  7. canucks fuckexd up letting horvat go. and then miller.. and then silovs.. then drafging juolevi and virtanen lol.. what an embarassing organisation

  8. I don't ever recall Isles cycling like they did to get Barzal and Schaefer in position to let it rip and score the game winner. Good coaching. Good strategy. This is a different team. NO DOUBT.
