Why should Montréal waste a bunch of money to take on problems from other teams?
It seems the answers are developing in house. Why not save the cap space to keep the guys already present?
Demidov and Kyrou are both RW, so obviously one would have to play their off wing for this to work.
Kyrou makes $8.125 million for another six years. Montreal has 6 million in cap space so they cant afford him. Are they going to trade for Laine??
They want some good players and pieces for this 30 goal 70 point player.
St Louis has been trying to trade Krug and last year it was Schenn and now its Kyrou.

1) Dalibor Dvorsky as a young left handed center loaded with potential
2) Colto Parayko Huge Shea Weber like Right Defenseman that would be bring physicality and skill for the playoffs

Alex Tuch RW 6'4" and can score would be a better fit! Anderson goes the other way and we retain and send 2 round pick 4.75 per and expires the end of the season. I think Buffalo will move him and go for the first pick. Dahlin on leave and personally Buffalo just doesn't have it! Must be the water!

IF MTL doesn't split up the top line, then the 'perfect' center for Demidov would be Horvat (the Isles won't let him go.) You just need a two way type center to sidle with Demidov.
..Coltom Parayko at 6-6.. capable partner for Hutson with attitude.. could make a significant difference freeing up ice for Hutson..

I really don't like the guys we're being linked to but I do appreciate that Montreal is now a trade destination for players. Hughes has really changed the perception of Montreal in only 3 years.
