Stop Blaming the Coaches — This Is on the Players #shorts

Contrary to popular belief… the #LeafsForever struggles aren’t because of Derek Lalonde.

THIS IS ALL ON THE PLAYERS!

  1. No it isnt theirs good temas out there. They need a make a trade for another winger but a headliner. We need a headliner

  2. bro, it is lalonde. how is this even a conversation? look at detroit this year. its the same team as last year. that loser was the reason detroit was in the gutter last season

  3. Blame the Captain.
Matthews simply doesn’t give a sh*t, and the rest of the players feed off his apathetic attitude and body language.

  4. We just aren't good enough. We lost a 100+ point guy and replaced him with Dakota Joshua and Nic Roy and Macelli. The regular season is a no-hit affair. There's literally no bodychecking out there. That's why we're struggling. We have built for the playoffs but we aren't going to get through the regular season to even get there. We don't have the talent.

  5. Love to have those two first round picks back again. Trevliving is on the hot spot for those awful deals and the David Kampf fiasco

  6. Defense is a team concept, it's not, we'll wait at the blue line for the dmen to bring the puck to us on a silver platter…the other ridiculous thing that is apparent with these guys is there inability to pinch at the proper time, your job is Defense, if you're behind the other team's net(M.R.), who's covering for you if you are no longer able to get back in position? Last I checked, I don't think we have Scott Niedermayer playing for us. Any nhl goalie can be expected to face one maybe two breakaways and a few odd man rushes but this is beyond the norm, we allow 4-5 breakaways and almost the same for odd mans every game. I hope they turn it around and bring it back to simple basic hockey…big test tonight.
