Before our last 2 games, in his weekly ranking, the hockey guy ranked us 31st. Even I, in all my negativity, felt offended. He clearly even considered putting Calgary in front of us. And that was before these last 2 games. I’d say, because I respect THG’s neutrality and his work, if that is not a reality check and a wake-up call, I dont know what is. Hard-working ppl in the business rank us pretty much dead last in the league. Thats where we are.
If Ann&Emma do their Thelma&Louise, I think I will hide in the trunk. These are troubled times.

I appreciate that OReilly is so humble but at the same time always being hard on yourself and discounting your own accomplishments can result in you actually struggling, there's a known psychological function there. But either way hate seeing the guys down on themselves, i wish i could drag us all to the timeline where everybody's clicking and having a good time
Also, I took Brunettes comment to mean "I am getting them to the net and getting them chances, its up to the players to get it past the goalie once they get there" and I dont disagree, the guys need to improve their shooting and execution in those critical moments, but also beating Vladar yesterday was not an easy task

Yall want a win and your team wants a win I’m sure. So I expect your team to claw, scratch and bite or whatever they have to do to get a dub. Stars are kind of up and down atm. We either get leads and lose them, or we get behind and come from behind to win. Our 5 on 5 is anemic. Our PK is struggling this year also. Something we aren’t used to. We’re depending on our PP too much. A PP which is good at home but struggles on the road. So my one word would be “inconsistent”. Talented and skilled, and capable, but still trying to find our identity and keep it in place. Points in 7 straight til last night. We’re still missing big parts of our team also. Benn, Duchene, Lundkvist. We just got Hintz back last night. But Saturday will be a close one. A hated division rival who will either totally fall apart? Or get it together somehow any way they can. We seem to make games we should win interesting. If we can keep from turning it over in our zone which is an issue recently we should be ok. But I expect the Preds to come out swinging. These teams hate each other which makes for some good hockey. So I’m interested to see how it goes. Could get dirty. We will see. Go Stars!
Poor Ryan. Not a fan of your team but damn. My heart goes out to him. He wants the team to do well and he’s trying to carry it, it seems, on his own. He almost seemed like he was close to tears. He’s a pro. He will get it together. New coach soon? Before the end of the year? Or do the Preds management ride it out? Yall were expecting good hockey last year. The,predetors,after their big trade,close to two, summers ago!I thought they were Cup, contenders,when they,fell on their faces,that was the negativity,took root!They really need a over haul,to get their heads back in order!They just like in the past,when they were considered,Cup,contenders,they just could not get over the top!The negativity,set in,it ain’t left,and I don’t know,if this unit can get their mojo,back!
