Nice legal hits are important part of the game. It should be given 5 min to 'defender' in case refs to consider the hit is clean.

Wilson hit on Eissymont should have been targeting the head and he didn’t even get a penalty… gosh I can’t stand that guy… refs letting a lot go early in year.
Its awesome to see Blackhawks giving hits this year instead of just our little guys getting ran over, new coaches push on fundamentals and conditioning is really showing. AWESOME

This video just amplifies the embarrassing softness that exists in the league today. There’s absolutely no reason for guys/teams to be fighting after good, clean, and hard checks. Get on with it!

Hits like the very first one are kind of lame to me. They're basically interference. The guy is defenseless at that point, he's an easy target and hitting him doesn't actually accomplish anything. Players have to be given some leeway to hit after the puck is gone if they've already committed to it and they're very close. That's not what happened there.
But if it keeps happening, I hope more players do what Hedman did to Greig. You gotta see it coming and teach them a lesson for going out of their way to make a pointless hit.

Tom Wilson has never met a head he doesn’t like to hunt. And you continue to allow it.
I love seeing big, clean hits that don't result in a scrap. Hitting is part of the game, and everyone got too sensitive for a while there. It seemed like there was a fight after every single check, even completely clean ones that weren't that hard. Good to see that hockey came back this year.

This is one good example how lucky many pro hockey players are. To be able to make such hits as people are watching you and damn. What a life. About that Wilson guy, I don't wanna criticize him without reason. But he wouldn't play in NHL without that tackling ability.
