I'd like to remind everyone that we have not had a goalie fight in over half a decade. Because the department of player safety doesn't want fighting in hockey anymore. And that is fucking stupid.
Crazy how Ottawa got a power play out of this. It's not like it affected the outcome of the game, it just shows how completely incompetent the refs are.

This exactly how massive team rivalries were started… and exactly why you now have 1st place team standings wise ( the hurricanes) with no rivalry games …
if you saw the whole game the bottom line is: never ever let eggplants to ref an NHL game. just keep them out of NHL to begin with. one dubious mistake had turned this whole match sideways because of the one baboon who should've stick it with the NBA instead.
