All the best Johnny T. Hawks legend! -Stars fan
YESS
One of the greatest hockey player ever.
Love this!
Welcome back toews you have been missed
i love the guy..its fabulous to see him come back…he is also not being honest…..if you wanna give these public interviews…be honest…he isn't…no one uses these empty words. If they are being honest and straightforward. Its like he was coached…..in what to say, what words to use…..fake!
its not going to work out…..i still hope it does
Great interview Elliott. Amazing to see Toews suit up in Winnipeg.
A all timer by Elliotte here, fantastic stuff!
its sooo good to see johnny back. i got 3 jersey frames in my room, and his are the only ones that get to hold that space.
He speaks like a programed machine
Tazer is hanging dong
Let’s go Jonathan Toews!!!! Bring back home the Stanley Cup!!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Good he's back. But everyone knows the Jets ain't winning a cup in our lifetime 😂
Should of retired with the Hawks. Just my opinion. Guessing the new organization and leadership didnt want any piece of the past.
Super smart, super classy, superstar, love this guy!!!
Wonderful piece. A cup in the Peg would mean a lot more than it would in many markets
So health issues = kovid, waxxine related but nobody will say it out loud
He should win the Calder trophy
So if Toews helps the Jets win a cup what would be the next recognition he'd get? He already has a lake named after him.
Taser is scoring one tonight!
What an amazing lesson that someone we all think is on top of the world was so miserable despite all the success, he had to go on a spiritual quest to get healthy. So happy for him and just goes to show that we’re all people doing the best we can.
All I can say is….
WOW! The fact that this young man has now experienced the “inner look” at one’s self is beyond words.
The fact of the honesty he has shared is remarkable.
The fact of the points that have been shared by his own words is inspiring.
Cheers Tazer…Thank you for sharing such remarkable insight and words for all of us to hear and watch.
Good luck in this part of your journey and career.
Cheers…👊🏽🫵🏽👍🏽🤙🏽🙏🏽
The only thing incredible about his return is that it was allowed to happen in the first place.
Shame on you Toews.
It’s toews’s!!!!!
Always loved his game. Glad he got back in the league.
Super happy to see him back in the league but even happier it’s as a Jet.
Great interview. Great story. Remarkable journey for Toews.
Toews needs to get the recognition he deserves as being the greatest 2 way centerman of the last 20 years.
Eliot, my Hindu grandmother knows more about hockey than you do! You can't even skate! Read stats , wow! That's hard work!
Great guy. Let’s bring The Cup to Winnipeg!! 🎉
Sportsnet should be ashamed of this fluff piece. Toews is a lowlife. Bullied Kyle Beach, what a courageous captain. Then Toews backed the ppl who covered it up. He’s disgraceful. Now Sportsnet paints him as a hero of mental health and courage? 🤮
He's a Mennonite. Winnipeg has a lot of Mennonites. I grew up surrounded by Mennonites… which is why I'm very surprised he went to India on a spiritual and healing journey. All the Mennonites I knew were strongly devoted Christians who followed the gospel of Jesus Christ. None of them would even think about getting involved with Hinduism or any other eastern religion. I would have expected him to put his faith in Jesus.
Well done
As a Canucks fan I hated this guy back in the day. That’s the biggest compliment I could give him. The NHL is better with him in it. Best of luck Johnny!
Question is can he still play?
People looking in the wrong places for inner peace and happiness…..when Jesus Christ is right there. Give him a chance before you try other ventures……
Johhny t playing well. He makes the Winnipeg Jets better.
