3-0-0 doesn't really solicit a panic
No need to bring up Kotkaniemi- all the GM “fans” have already predicted his trade/buy out/waiver etc etc etc
“He’s not one of Rod’s boys” etc etc etc.
The only thing I’m worried about is Svech, hasn’t affected a game positively really at all, and his regular season last year was just straight up bad. If he doesn’t have the playoff run he did I’m not sure he isn’t on the block. Which sucks bc we need a power forward that scores consistently. Theres no reason rookie Jackson Blake has 2 less goals than him last season.

Not worried at all. Ehlers is just getting comfortable with his new linemates. It’s gonna take some time. It’s not like he hasn’t had some good looks, they just haven’t gone in yet — and it’s only been three games (and we’ve won them all)

Ehlers has looked pretty decent for not having any points. And you can tell he’s not quite buddy buddy with Aho/Jarvy yet. There was a clip of them 3 on the bench together and Jarvy/Aho are basically sitting on top of each other and Ehlers has like a foot gap between him and Jarvy.
aho and jarvis have that connection. aho will probably always pass the jarvy in big situations like OT because they’re just a really strong pairing. mostly cause he’s used to svech or blake on the other wing. it’s easier to score when your linemates are giving you chances, which aho gives many to jarvis. aho also just likes passing more than shooting
