Luchanko is severely overrated. Guy looks like an AHL level scorer. Go look at his OHL scoring stats. Then look at Zack Macewen's OHL scoring statistics. Enough said. Flyers passed on an Elite potential #1D in Buium for a bottom6 ceiling undersized fast skater who "tries really hard" and has a "good attitude". 🤡🤡🤡
Same failing drafting strategies in Philadelphia. The Flyers would be SIGNIFICANTLY better if they just took the best CONSENSUS draft pick every year. This team is NOT smarter then every other scout and organization in the league. But they draft low end prospects every year thinking they are.
Very optimistic about this season. 1) Tocchet – the amount he’s willing to share, how much he speaks freely with the media, how every time he speaks I feel like he’s trying to provide as much details as he can without also sounding like he’s completely exhausted by it all – HATED Torts. Always have always will. Stopped watching completely when he got hired. 2) Michkov – is THE guy on the flyers. Period. If he can put up the same numbers as last year we’re on the right track for superstardom. Hoping for 30G/30A/60P
