Whatever it takes to get a 38 year old Crosby. It’s not whatever it takes for a 25 year old Crosby.
here"s the thing, if pittsburgh decides to trade crosby its guaranteed they are not going to look for a quick fix and be competitive next year. they would want picks and prospects. that is something montreal has aplenty. 2 firsts or a first and a second round pick or maybe a prospect would be my staring offer. montreal doesnt need these things right now we are already stacked, and hopefully as a playoff contender soon our firsts wouldn't be worth as much as before.

Sid isn’t going anywhere
A 1st round, a prospect like Engstrom on D with possibly Beck and a NHL right now in the roster. The roster player can be a third or fourth liner, the goal is to tank and get the best player in upcoming draft.

If I were Crosby I’d ask to go to Toronto. They are close and he could push them over the top. And he would be a hero to all the TML fans if he brought them a cup. His legacy would be even larger if he brought a cup to Toronto.
