The Winnipeg Jets have been dealing with less than stellar health as of late. Already down Adam Lowry, their match-up centre, the Dylan Samberg news delivered a bit of a gut punch. Injury scares with Toews and Namestnikov against the Wild only heightened the need to get through the last game or two of pre-season as injury-free as possible. Who could step up for some of these guys if they have to miss time? Will Toews be good to go by the start of the season? What opportunities might this create for some of the youth to play? Can the Jets make it through a month or so without Samberg?

And help rn he's Canadian from Maritimes like Barron. He's been a pro since 19yrs old his last seasons had good production he won't even get 1st or 2nd line time in NJ behind Hischier and Hughes. Could grow with Perfetti next jets core. Has career high of 56pts.

NJ doesn't have much forwards but is heavy defence with Nemec,Casey,Silyayev comming
