So, they're going to play finnie and keep a 9th winger. Worst case they send him to GR if he doesn't continue linear progression
😂 a lot of excitement over players Stevie Y and staff have picked. 180 flip from all the rage bait videos you guys make about his seat being "hot"
I think with a young player projected to be in the top 6, you can have him on a third line and it will still help him develop. I just don't want to see such a player on the 4th line or healthy scratched.
PP2 barely gets any time anyway
I've never once doubted the Yzerplan due to the prospects he has drafted. They are incredible as a collective. I've been saying that this is the year fans will stop blaming him. Then the 26-27 year is the year that they begin their typical 10 year run of Red Wings dominance. The Red Wings top 10 prospects are in this order:
1. ASP (Needs a full season in the AHL but will put up points in the AHL)
2. MBN (Ready for the NHL now. At his peak he is 40-45 goal scorer)
3. Bear
4. Finnie (Can play in the NHL right now but only on top 2 lines. He is significantly better than Danielson)
5. Plante (much better than people think)
6. Augustine
7. Genborg
8. Danielson (Good player but he is overrated. He is NOT Kasper!)
9. Lombardi (Offensively ready for the NHL right now. Will get called up at some point this year but needs to gain 5-10 more pounds this off season to be at his best)
10. Noah Dower Nilson (would be much higher if not for the shoulder injuries)
I REALLY appreciate your show and discussions. So much better than the idiot NEAL yelling at everyone and tell us how stupid we fans are. IMO at least 3 of these kids are going to make the team: Finnie, Danielson, and Mazer or Lambo
Ive posted this a few other places Nygard's shot looks exactly like Shanny's, very heavy and absolute missiles. The discussion that somehow Finnie and ASP need a year in the AHL is laughable. Everyone complains that the wings delay young players then sit there and say send them all down because…what, Gus, Ras, Compher, Hull, are better? FFS. Finnie is obviously ready now, his skating and board skills are already NHL
I see Finnie as an AS within 5 years (Kariya/Zetterberg combo), and you dont even have him making the team next year? Definite difference of opinion.
ASP with Syder….great
Berggren will be gone before the regular season starts.
Holl isn’t keeping ASP out of the lineup, asp is keeping asp out of the lineup.
I'm so impressed by MBN and Finnie, as well as the other prospects. I expect 1 year from now. Nate Danielson, Amadeus Lombardi, ASP, Emmitt Finnie, MBN, Carter Mazur, and Cossa to become full-time Detroit Red Wings, before the 2026-2027 season. I also expect William Wallinder and Shia Buium to have an excellent opportunity to join at the start of next season or shortly after.
Detroit Red Wings 2026-2027 line-up:
Finnie Larkin Raymond
DeBrincat Kasper Kane?
Lombardi Danielson MBN
Soderblom Copp Mazur
Rasmussen
Johansson Seider
Edvidsson ASP
Buium JBD
Wallinder
Gibson
Cossa
If Patrick Kane doesn't re-sign Mason Appleton will remain on the team. I expect Jonatan Berggren to be traded for a 3rd or 4th round draft pick, and J.T. Compher be traded at 50% retained for a 4th round draft pick to Colorado.
