To be fair the hurricanes only traded adam fox because it was obvious despite their efforts , that he wasn’t gunna sign with the hurricanes. He was very determined to play for the rangers, having grown up a rangers fan. Also both trades sucked, but the luango trade is worse. Solely because of the snowball effect. it led to the islanders drafting dipietro, then garth snow giving dipietro that massively long contract. A contract they are paying until 2030, despite dipietro already being retired over a decade

Kinda unfair to put Fox on this list. Carolina didn't have a choice since Fox made it very clear he wasn't going to sign with them.
Jumbo Joe still has less Cup Championships than the Bruins franchise since 2000. The Seguin trade was the WORST this century!
If the capitals had kept forsberg, they probably would’ve never gotten TJ Oshie who ended up being a franchise player.
