Next season!
Coach, put Roy on the 4th line and he whines!
the deputy would be appreciated in the lineup.
You are both right and wrong with Joshua Roy.
1- Top 6 potential is there.
2- Mental status is not there
3- He is a good line compliment, not a line driver.
You got to showcase him to trade him if you do not believe in him, not bury him in the AHL.
He's one of those players that played with Ovechkin, Crosby, Lemieux, etc. a revolving door highly replaceable high skilled forward that needs somebody else to push…. Like Jonathan Drouin …
We need the blackeye brothers in the lineup game one to cause chaos and terror in the league
I have heard time and time again, Beck rises to the occasion again. Does history repeat? I hope so. Prediction: Where do Evans and Beck fit on the same team? I say let Reinbacher develop and dominate in Laval. 20 games minimum.
I think signing Crosby an extra two years makes a ton of sense. If the Pens didn't extend, they couldn't trade him. The Pens need young NHL caliber players and prospects. Crosby should yield a few good ones. Habs are a great fit in every respect. It's win-win.
I wouldn’t judge Reinbacher’s game based on chaotic unstructured prospects game
Training camp and pre-season will be more telling as to where his level is at
Pair with an NHL partner playing a structured system at then bring out the criticism
He is the kind of guy that is cerebral and needs structured play
As for Matheson I would treat him the same way that DVO and Armia were last year let him play out the season see where team is at trade deadline if team is in playoff race keep him as rental that cost you no assets to acquire and lose him as an UFA if the ask is to high to re-sign
Extending Matheson is at the bottom of my list of signings
The only thing Hutson, Dobson and Ghule can learn from Matheson is how to give up the puck to the opposition and not sit on the bench thinking about it
Beck to me is the best option to replace DVO
perhaps not to start the year as it’s pretty crowded but he’s a better center option than any other prospect right now
I agree
Roy needs to show well at camp his future is on the line I saw him live last year here in Vancouver and he reads the play well he was just half a second too late which is a huge in the NHL looked to lack urgency
Mesar needs a full healthy year in Laval no spot for him right now
Florian & Kapanen could easily be seeing games this year in NHL
Florian’s size and grit could be the guy that sticks with team but 30 – 40 games in Laval on a more offensive role and PP wouldn’t hurt him
Veleno & Blais are playing for their NHL future just as much as some of the young kids they could make team just as easily end up on waivers / Laval
I actually think they could be good pieces to use
There will be lots of competition
I love Farrell
it’s a shame that he is locked out due to size
He had a good year in Laval hope he replicates it, but if he continues to be locked out perhaps he can be a good asset to trade
( if Caufield were to get injured player type like Farrel would be a guy that could slot in and bring the same kind of energy / stature and balance, I know he’s not an elite sniper but his play reminds of Caufield who is more than just a shooter, very agile and shifty
Habs have a spoil of prospects
Florian has become a blue chip prospect from out of nowhere
Andy & Gally would be perfect wingers for any young C coming into line up over the next 2 years , 2 responsible veterans
Andy – Evans – Gally I’m sure will be leaned on nursing home a lead late in games or matching up against top opposition
But to usher in a young C I see no better wingers than those 2 beauties
Peter Svoboda is gonna make the cut this year I'm 100% sure 👍
