Steve Dangle, Adam Wylde and Jesse Blake discuss the current contract negotiations between the Minnesota Wild and F Kirill Kaprizov. Should they trade him if he wont sign? Should they even be offering him the HUGE deal he turned down? What’s the future look like for the Wild with and without him?

you guys gotta make a Guevin shirt
I know you guys are in Toronto so its hard to believe, but not every player is just out for the money. Some of them actually want to win lol
When are you going to accept reality Bill Gwaven, elite talent is elite 🎉Hudson Gold
People that keep saying he won't get that money any where else. Maybe money isn't number one to him maybe taking less money to play for a better team is what he wants.
It's a crazy democratic run city! I wouldn't want my family anywhere near it! Sorry but players like Rossi isn't attractive. Small, tied up on multi year contracts but sits for playoffs. Not ideal! Also hearing a boo coming from a fan who obviously doesn't have the mentality that the fans pay the bill not the owners. When contracts rise. Of course someone who gets passes for free would be disappointed! Maybe passionate but clueless!
IMO this reeks of the issue minnesota has had for a while. Good enough to make the playoffs, not good enough to go far. Yes the Parise and Suter contracts hamstrung them for a long time but a deep playoff run goes a long way. Plus they STRUGGLED without him at parts last season. He’ll be a UFA next season so if you dont sign him at some part, trade and get assets.
McDavid has endorsements and Draisaitl has less opportunity for endorsements.
If I am McDavid, I take less salary while endorsements subsidize my salary and Draisaitl subsidizes my legacy.
It is the Tom Brady and Michael Jordan model.
However, Kirill has less opportunity than Draisaitl for endorsements or legacy.
Adam, don't you dare say Tampa Bay. I can't even deal if they get Dolla Dolla Bill Kirill.
His agent Paul is shady
Sign and trade to NJ 16 mil 6 years take Mercer Jonas Casey Daws Palat pick
WELCOME TO CAROLINA KIRILL! (Please)
Kaprizov to Chicago makes sense, but what is the return because the only ones that make sense would be Bedard one for one or Frank Nazar and two firsts in 2026 and one first in 2027.
“Can I ask a question?”
“No.”

LMFAO
Some people want the money and the respect…. For some people that’s more important haha
When jesse talks about panarins deal, he fails to mention how he took the least amount offered to him and went to a place he wanted to go. Just thought that should be pointed out
This russian player Is A Wild And plays with big players
I dare you to say Bill Geuvin…to his face. I dare you. HA HA
It's about the term, not the amount.
First of all laughing at a stars father and making fun of a general managers name !!!! Man you monkeys have balls , secound is kaprisov better than draisaitle !!?? The rest is just freaking speculation , all players love money but all players want the cup period !
Blue jackets, lightning unlikely, capitals?
If mcdavid signs for 4 years $70 that's $17.5 million a season are $80 million for 5 that's $16 million a year. Anything over $16.5 for kaprizov is an over payment
F the panthers lol
First and last time listening to these guys. The guy in the center is the biggest and annoying idiot I’ve ever seen.
left a like for the ending lmaoo
Capitals have assets and are on the rise without ovi or Carlson

PLEASE don’t get my hopes up of him ending up in Tampa. It’s a nightmare for everyone else, but that’s all it is, a dream
Nobody wants to live in Minnesota I guess . Similar to Winnipeg. Both markets lost their teams before … Might it happen again in say 10 years?
It's a kapriz-off
It seems that maybe more than a few teams could be waiting on Mcdavids contract structure.
Draisaitl at 14.5 is a big precedent so I cannot see how anyone would pay an oft injured Kaprizov 16, 17, 18?
I dunno it just seems outlandish.
Who would you prefer on your team Draisitil who’s almost never hurt and annually puts up 100 points or Kaprizov who’s injured often yet highly electric?
I think it’s an easy choice imo
I'm guessing he's waiting for Connor McDavid to sign his contract and then one up him and go like 18.5
