🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION:
On August 17, 2024, at the Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City, Canada, undefeated Canadian junior lightweight prospect Thomas Chabot (Thetford Mines, Quebec) took on Argentine veteran Matias Ezequiel Guenemil (Argentina). Chabot came into the fight with a perfect record, relying on pressure, sharp combinations, and high work rate; Guenemil, known as “El Carnicero,” countered with straight right hands and showed durability despite being off for over a year.
From round one, Chabot pressed forward, mixing body shots with looping hooks and uppercuts, pushing Guenemil into uncomfortable positions. Guenemil had moments with clean counters, especially right crosses, but Chabot’s constant pressure and better ring generalship tilted most rounds in his favor. Midway through the fight, Chabot opened a cut over his forehead from a clash of heads, yet pressed on with his aggressive style. As the rounds progressed, Guenemil’s output decreased under Chabot’s body attack and inside fighting.
After eight competitive rounds, the judges awarded Thomas Chabot a unanimous decision win, with two scorecards reading 80–72 and one 79–73 in his favor. The win improved Chabot’s record to 11–0 (8 KOs) and reaffirmed his status as a rising contender in the super featherweight division.

Wow nice figh ❤❤❤👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Yup, great fight!! Judges got that right!
Chabot looks like Butthead from Beavis and Butthead.
If Guenemil had a bit more power, it would have been a different fight.
