We're building a roster for our contention window. We should not ruin our future for a couple years of Crosby.
Florian Xhekaj is our own version of Matthew Tkachuk. Pittsburgh might ask for him as one of the pieces in a trade for Crosby.
y would blocking shots excite you guys? its the most overrated stat in the nhl! look up all the bad teams who block the most shots year in year out! thats y david savard killed us on defense & was bad for our rebuild period!!!!
The reason why Crosby would be great in our team is not because of the 2C factor it’s because of the sea he would be wearing on his jersey!!! we would have a leader on the ice. Suzuki is a great player, but he is no leader and even Marty St. Louis is not a leader. Crosby would fill that need.

Thorpe has an amazing shot. in the 2 years at development camp he is the only player to have 5 goals. The kid is a beast. He and FLorian on a 4th line in 2-3 years will be scary.

Montreal is a young team. They don't need Sidney Crosby, all this is a distraction, and you both should be ashamed for promoting this crap. You used to be good, but the last tear , not so much anymore
if crosby is gonna go somewhere it will be with a team that be going to the stanley cup like the avanlanche or others yes he might come to us but we might not make the playoffs this year cause last year we barely made it and almost didnt so dont get to excited he might not leave pitsburg either. other than that thorpe looking real good loved him in last year rookie camp and this year to anxious to see him tomorow with florian xhekaj and demidov i see thorpe playing the for the canadiens more then i see tuch or mesar cause his and xhekaj size and grit plus skill
