  1. Roslovic: Too old, doesn't produce enough. Montreal doesn't seem to be going for players over 26 years old.

O'Reilly: Far too old. Never gonna happen.See Roslovic. MTL is building around their young core and trying to get rid of their oldies.

McCann: See Roslovic. MTL is not building around old farts.

Nah. Montreal will likely old to the cap space, since they have to pay Hutson next season, also Matheson, Xhekaj, Dach, and Laine. 2 years left of the expensive contracts of Gallagher and Anderson.

If I were MTL, I'll wait until those 2 useless contracts are done and then make a big move. Until then, stay the course and try to improve the team trade by trade like Hughes has done for years.

  2. Mtl does not have to do anything, now that they are cap compliant. It woukd be great if they found a good 2nd line center, but I hope they do not give up too much.

  3. im a nashville area resident and fan, the people hating on orielly havent been watching him at all, he is a legit beast, his numbers dont tell the story at all and the numbers arent even that bad…..i dont see yall giving us something good enough for us to let him go unless they start a full teardown

  4. The longer MTL waits, the higher the salary(s) they will be able to accept

On March 6, MTL will be able to accept contracts worth up to $20 million/year
The cap will be calculated based on the remaining time of the season
