I will fall and die on this sword. Nemec will be the future of our defense along side Luke. The guy had some growing pains but he is turning from a boy to a man and he’s going to a force to reckon with.
I think I owe Nemec an apology. He's not giving up even when us (I) gave up on him. He clearly really wants to be in the NHL.

Your channel is definitely the best Devils channel out there. You're honest, and don't post nonsense. There's one channel I cannot stand, is Devils Digest…they only post click bait. Yeah Nemec definitely beefing up…I am hoping when other players see this, it encourages them to beef up too..Nemec looks like he can drop the gloves with Rempe and beat the snot out of him.

Longest offseason ever. Kudos for finding material in a very boring time period. Looks like rolling the dice with our current club is what we are waiting for. Aside from Lukes contract, we can all just stay in hibernation until real time puck drop. Here's hoping things work out and injury bug stays the fk away.

Boring offseason indeed but the only NHL news that got me excited recently was seeing Milan Lucic possibly coming back on the Blues. Wish that rumor about coming to the Devils came true lol
Most boring off season ever.
For the 3rd time in 4 seasons, the Devils will exclusively be on ESPN+/Hulu for their season opener. Meaning, I won't be able to watch the game & I would have to listen to it on the Devils Hockey Network on their website. That's October 9th against Carolina.

Definitely gotta agree with ya Ace, just because you don't see it doesn't mean it ain't happening (I personally hate social media, even though I'm replying to you on YT, 😂).
That said, I would like to see Jack and Luke both come to camp a little bigger. I think it could help their durability. I don't expect Jack to be a monster, but I do want a concerted effort toward improving. Unfortunately, both Jack and Luke had shoulder surgery, and Jack has had it a few times over recent summers, so I can understand it's hard to put on weight when recovering, and even more so during the season because you tend to burn off that fat and muscle throughout the season. I digress. Just get bigger boys. Surprise me.

I could see Luke and Jack pushing Patty and Niedermayer off the Devils Mount Rushmore, however part of that would need Fitz to do his damn job and get Luke signed… If Luke misses a preseason game (maybe even any time in training camp) Fitz deserves to get canned for dereliction of duty.

I love the idea of the smaller offensive seamus casey paired with a big defensive guy like Silayev, behind a pair of nemec and luke.

Can’t think of a better defense in the league if Nemec can put it all together this year. If only they had actual depth scoring, then they would legitimately be a team that could challenge Florida for the East this year
