Those NMC's are the death of this team. Giving players with no playoff passion tons of money is the recipe for disaster. Cohesive units win cups. Looks at Florida, Tampa and Colorado. I don't associate the Leafs with those teams at all.

Homeboy didnt wanna be here for a couple years now. He failed in the playoffs once again. Change needed to happen, both for the player and the team. The fact that they got a decent player for him at this stage is a miracle in itself.
It was the maple leaf that signed the 8 year extension not Vegas Vegas wanted him for 8 but only way they could do that was if Toronto sign him only the current Rights Holder could sign him to 8 Marner traded to Golden Knights by Maple Leafs, signs 8-year, $96 million contract
