Still a decent season, 33 goals even tho he was out for some most of the season
And mostly an assist year for Matthews
I’m not sure if I ever told you this before bro but Auston Matthews is my favourite NHL player!
Believe it or not, I was actually at the Avalanche game at Scotiabank Arena with my Dad on March 19th! That sure was a nice goal he scored!
I think he had a great first season as Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs. I don’t think scoring 33 goals was a down year for him considering the fact that the captain of your team sometimes has a role where he wants to focus more on the playmaking than the goal scoring!
I’m super pumped to see what he’ll accomplish from now until the end of his potential hall of fame career! I really want to see him win a Stanley Cup or 2!
