He could be on the big club by late 2026 season or the start of 26-27 season .
Red wings could have drafted him but no
As an Islanders, I'm certainly looking forward for having him on the team… but if you look at Wahlstrom and Bellows, they both dont play in the NHL, or they didint pan out. Keeping a positive mind about it, but cautious about it
I'm an Isles fan, and they have plenty of playmakers. What they really need are scorers. I think he's going to fit into what the team is looking to do moving forward very well.
LGI! Thank you for covering them! My only fear with the USNDT list is the Isles had 2 of those guys #7 &8 and both didn't pan out.
The Isles have been drafting/picking up some more colourful personalities than your traditional Tavares, Nelson, Pulock, Pelech, Lee, Bailey, Dal Colle, Strome types…
Eiserman, Schaefer, Aitcheson, Eklund, Prokhorov, Shabanov, DeAngelo
Bossy was like that. He was known for the one-timer down the right side, but he scored from all areas. You'd have to, to achieve his kinds of numbers.
No mention of Bellows and Wahlstrom?
Big Mistake that this guy dropped. It’s going to be similar to Justin Jefferson slipping to the Vikings. I think you’re looking at a 30-50 Goal 🥅 guy throughout a long career. Plus he is made for NYC. His goal against Canada 🇨🇦 in the world juniors set a tone. Kids got intangibles and oozes confidence.
It’s hard to explain his slippage! I think part of it was he has a little individual streak. I think his Cellies are epic and it’s deemed as selfish. However he is know as an excellent teammate. He is electric ⚡️ and ain’t no wallflower!
In Eiserman you are looking at a dynamic goal scorer, that plays a decent defensive game and is very physical too. Lol 😂 he ain’t going to be on your PK, but you wouldn’t want him there anyway!
Was a little bummed when the Wings passed on him, even though we all knew Steve was taking MBN. I still like MBN, but boy.
