I don’t think Will is a 3.9 million player, maybe, but he seems like a 3rd line guy. Kandre was a great rookie but never realized it, he seemed to drop off after the rookie hype got to his head. Needed to be a meaner player.
These goalies were also signed in a flat cap so just.conplaing about the igor sign is ridiculous during a cap.spike…
Going to this video. The gavrikov sign is OK IMO. The last 2-3 years gunna be brutal… Lindgren was a stud for us and sure he fell.off but how much better do u think.he will be then.lindgren at his prime… Fox was exposed last year with his atrocious defense.
I agree with you that our defensive depth isn't sufficient enough. Soucy and vakki isn't gunna cut it… I'm okay with soucy on the 3rd and schinder is an OK pair, but that 2nd pair dosent look hot. Borgen IMO is not a 2nd pair and that should be schniders spot. Your friend dosent like schinder but he also dosent like to eat healthy so dosent reallt matter what overweight people think.
Anyways. Having a good Dcore Like TB,VGK,CHI,LA,FLA,STL. All 6 were serviceable. You don't need to be a stud let's say but my oh my.alex pietro is certainly a stud. Hedman. Keith. Ekblad.Doughty… not sure if I can put fox in that cat if you know what I mean… so hopefully gavrikov is Adam's guy… I really hope we win the cup so your 2 fat friends can tell me I was right.

I’m happy with the Cuylle extension, and getting two picks and a prospect for K. Miller was better than I expected. Even with the signing of Gavrikov this team isn’t better than the team that started last season. I’m a huge JT Miller fan, but he and a couple of rookies are not going to replace Kreider, Kakko and Chytil. Now they have two first pair defensemen and five or six third pair defensemen.
A good day. When Eminger, Glass & Ortmeyer are gone, I’ll believe Drury has a complete handle of what needs to be done!

I don't care for Drury, but he had a good day. Kavrikov, if he plays well, is a good signing. Term may be too long but let's see. Keeping Cuylle a no-brainer. Getting a 1st, 2nd & a decent prospect for K'Andre Miller an A++ move. Miller is no 8.5 million a year player. One possible negative from today, if true. Signing of Taylor Raddysh. Too much 'smoke' around this guy. Guess Panarin needs a 'roommate'.

Has anyone mentioned this?? Gavrikov close with Igor?? They played together 17-18, 18-19 for St.Petersburg SKA. Maybe Gavrikov took a discount because of that. Something to think about. Scott Morrow has some bite in his game. He is more competitive than Miller,, Morrow also more physical and got into 3 fights this year and won them all. Sticks up for teammates. Good team guy it seems.

Professional sport seems to bypass the laws of economics.Miller was a season long disappointment and under no circumstances should his poor play be rewarded with a long term contract by the NYR
Carolina decided to ignore the visible evidence and give him a totally undeserved new long term contract.
Miller has had enough time to establish himself as a high end player in the NHL but never did.
Until he acquires some humility and knuckles down to do the dirty work required by a proper defencenan he will never achieve the performance level that we constantly were told he was capable of .
