THIS MIGHT NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN (Fin-Rat Line)
I created this video to show that They weren’t the stars… but they were the reason Florida went back-to-back.
Brad Marchand, Anton Lundell, and Eetu Luostarinen just delivered one of the most dominant playoff performances by a third line in NHL history — and they were absolutely crucial to the Panthers winning back-to-back Stanley Cups.
From shutting down top lines to scoring clutch goals, this trio played like a first line every single night. In this video, we break down how this so-called “depth line” quietly became the biggest X-factor of the 2025 playoffs.

🔥 Marchand’s playoff firepower
🔒 Lundell’s Selke-level two-way game
🚨 Luostarinen’s relentless impact
🏆 The true reason the Panthers repeated as champs

Don’t sleep on this line — they didn’t just contribute… they changed everything.

  1. Do you have some finnish connection as you do much content about them or are these subjects just so hot 😂

  2. As a fan of the Panthers, we were ahead the whole series. Taking leads then twice, giving them back, especially in game 4 when we were up 3-0.

Felt as if the team kinda took a few periods off and allows the Oilers to get back in.

But when it mattered most, they put the pressure on and kept it on.

  3. As a Finn I'm just thinking of the coming olympics. Luostarinen, Lundell and who? Kapanen? Armia? Granlund? Need someone who can be a pest and also score if needed. It's not like we'll stick Rantanen there, he's up there with Barkov.

  4. Panthers last year was already the best team of all time and now they just got more and made new pieces.

  5. I don't really see how they aren't winning next year either. It's gonna the be the first three peat of the modern era. I just don't see what team can get pieces to match this. The only way they are not winning again is with 2 major playrs injured out.

  6. If the Cats lose Bennett that's going to be the second line with Tkachuk instead of Marchand.

  7. It’s insane how this was only their 3rd line lol…it could be the first line in any other NHL team

  8. Luostarinen had 5 points less in the playoffs than in the entire season, pretty nuts. Regular season: 24 Playoffs: 19

  9. Luostarinen really elevated his game this year. Amazing line to watch. If Brad stays he'll be a great mentor for the young guys.

  10. Keep Marchi – Ekblad can take a pay cut or let him walk regardless of the players age…just my 2 cents. I have trust in Bill Zito – unlike the Phins (Chris Grier)

  11. They were the highest plus minus line in the playoffs I believe. Outstanding. The main issue is that soft players can be neutralized. Even Mario Lemieux sacrifirced to make plays and win cups. Granted he had support. Having a player like Steve Yzerman that was both skill and toughness can work. Some skill players are soft and others aren't.

  12. And to top it all off Lundel has 2 cups at the age of 23, if this is ks the level of skill they have now can't wait to see them 3-5 years down the line with a bit more experience under their sticks.
