  1. Was gonna say, maybe I missed it, but he was born and raised in St. Louis, so going to the Blues and being part of that first Cup team had to have been an enormous feeling of success for Patty.

  2. The Oilers really should’ve kept Maroon, that’s just a bad trade on the Oilers side.

  3. I ran into him years ago at a dive bar in Newport Beach after he scored a game winner against the kings during the regular season. He was just enjoying a beer and a shot by himself just relaxing before they traveled the next day. Super nice guy chatted with him for a couple minutes and left him alone before anyone could recognize him

  4. You should maybe do a career video on Steve Ott during the summer. He's an interesting comparable to Pat Maroon, while obviously lacking the cups as a player.

  5. I’m pretty sure Pat Maroon was the guy Doughty is chirping for “sucking at hockey” but has only 2 Cups to Maroon’s 3. 🤔

  6. Maroon was an important culture building player for the Hawks rebuild. To be able to say I attended the final game of his career is certainly something I’m happy I can say. Congrats to the Big Rig!!

  7. Maybe small, but thank you for using his Blues Cup as the thumbnail. He means a lot to our team and city, much appreciated Shan! Congrats on the Calder Cup!!

  8. When the Blues decided not to resign Pat, i was dismayed… I thought, "We need him, please find an extra million and get it done."… Then he signed with Tampa and I said, "They are going to win the Stanley Cup. He is just what they need."

  9. There is no coincidence that right after the lightning got rid of Pat Maroon, the panthers then took off. I HATED playing that man so much. Panther killer.

  10. As a Saint Louis/Oakville native, seeing pat maroon rise through the Hockey Ranks and being the first Saint Louis native to bring home the cup as a blue was truly something special. I have the puck from his final game in Saint Louis I’m hoping to give it to him someday

  11. ❤ The Big Rig. ⚡️

The guy was a fan favourite and beloved by teammates everywhere he went and always seemed like a genuine person.
Kucherov tutoring Pat Maroon’s son in practice as a favour to him should tell you all you need to know about Patty.

One of the rare fourth liners immediately deserving of a career video.
