He ponders how Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers matches up with his new AFC North division rivals including Joe Burrow of the Bengals, Lamar Jackson of the Ravens and Browns options including Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, Shedeur Sanders and Joe Flacco. Is he the clear No. 3 in the pecking order? Or could he offer coach Mike Tomlin and OC Arthur Smith advantages that Burrow and Jackson don’t offer their teams?
Later, Paul gives his thoughts on J.J. Spaun’s victory at the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club and the Pirates’ frustrating weekend series against the Chicago Cubs in which they allowed just nine runs but still lost three out of four games.

I agree with you Paul about Rogers elevates our team just enough. As far as the defense, we do have the players for the most part, but I really think it’s this style change that’s happened over the past few seasons. They no longer play pressure defense. No backers blitzing or corner blitz anymore. It’s like Tomlin’s afraid to blitz anymore. What do you think?
Have faith in the defense. They just need more offensive support, more ToP. Get them on the field at full strength and they'll turn the ball over or suffocate the opposing backfield

Yea Zeise, Lamar and Burrow better than him far as age. Bit he's got ore upstairs than both them combined! Same reason Brady and Manning did what they did at tge end there careers! And we all know Mike Dumblin the reason that defense suckin! Come on Zeise, you are a realest, you know everything I said facts!
If the offense cant hold the ball or score the defense spends more time on the field. It doesn't matter how good our defense is it can be a Superbowl stat defense best in history and they still wont play 100% of the game because their tired spending 75% of the game on field. If we just get a QB that can throw on play action and accurate we will win more than 10 games. Guess whos good at getting rid of the ball fast snd play action? Rodgers is the master of that so at 41 hes gonna produce more than anything else we were gonna have. Also he showed up to mini camp he didnt do that for newyork which tells me hes taking this seriously. Also he has already stated that he likes Will and hes gonna mentor him hes sees something special in the kid so now we get a bridge a starter and someone who can fix the culture in the Steelers QB room i only see positives out of all this
