Last night the Edmonton Oilers were humbled. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were held off the scoresheet, and in the third period Edmonton unraveled emotionally and ended the night with 80+ PIMS. It was a game completely out of character for an Oilers team that is usually calm and collected. Back when we won Game 1 I was feeling optimistic that there would be a Stanley Cup parade down Jasper Avenue. Now after 2 back to back losses, I am not so sure. I agree, Austin, if we lose on Thursday that is just about game, set and match for this series. The Oilers will have such a deep hole that I can't see them repeating last year's miraculous comeback. I am very sad to hear that last night's live stream was ruined by trolls. I was watching the game on CBC and find it hard when the live stream is 30 seconds or so behind the CBC, so I didn't watch the live stream. I stopped watching when the Panthers got their breakaway goal to make it 4-1. I can't bear to watch us lose like that.

I appreciate you, Austin. And I love coming here and posting my comments. That being said, I was very calm after game 3. These games happen from time to time in the playoffs. But, like you said, if the Oilers have shown us anything, it's that they are a resilient team. I think they will be back to their game in game 4 and deliver a banger of an effort.

If Oilers were able to acquire Marchand maybe they'd be sitting at 2-1. Having said that,if,and that's a big 'IF',they come back and win the Cup it will be 2nd greatest win after 1984 cup.

I generally dont care about the "trolls" from other teams fans but man something about florida just rubs me the wrong way. Lets face the truth, a majority of them are bandwagon "fans". And a lot of them act like they know everything about hockey and they are so god damn arrogant. Not all of them of course but read any comments on any panthers related video and you will see that the vast majority of them are like this.

Honestly, I found it unusual how calm you were, considering how the Oilers played. I didn't realize how bad the livestream chats from last night were. I usually watch the stream only during commercials, intermission, and post game. This video explains it . Great job, Austin, for handling it like a boss for the good of the community.
I admit that I had a full on crash while watching game 3 and it’s a weird game as McDavid put it. Slept on it and avoided social medias for a day.
My thoughts after calming down was the released of pent up frustration was good for the Oilers and sending a message to both refs and cats that they were not going to keep taking shits without fighting back.
The Oilers were definitely sending a message that they were not the Leafs that will allow the cats to maliciously injure their teammates without consequences.
Final score was not the outcome Oilers wanted but it’s necessary to send the message. Fk around and find out!
