Mailloux keeps reminding me of P.K Subban…Sometimes in good ways with the massive slap shot, big hits and good skating…But also bad with turn overs and awful decision making.

Oilers took the Panthers to game 7 and essentially lost by 1 goal. Oilers are healthier this time around. I would not disrespect the Oilers. After being down 2-0 they obliterated the Kings. Then the Knights. Then the Stars. McDavid is on a mission and on his revenge tour.
Guy Carbonneau is not related to Justin Carbonneau.
Land Hutson is my favourite player and has been since playing college hockey. This is not a popular opinion but I would consider trading Lane. He'll rack up the points in the regular season but won't be effective in the playoffs because of his size. His trade value would address some of the Hab's needs…
I expect Lane will sign for a bit more than what Bergevin gave Subban after he won the Norris. 8 years @ $9-$9.5m per. In today's economy he could probably get over $10-11M but I am expecting he'll take a "discount" to become the highest paid skater in team history.
Mark Messier, Ray Bourque, Mike Gartner & Dale Hunter
I think they should offer him a contract similar to Suzuki & Caulfield. About $8 million a year over 8-10 years.
