Thought the boys had the maturity to close a series out and not play nervous. They looked tentative, and I can’t understand it. Close it out in 5 please. Please get 2 defense off of the PP… it is clearly not working out.
Sturm doesn’t win faceoffs ever…. He’s a complete non factor and a liability in the faceoff circle.

Officiating was absolute dogwater tonight, but I thought we had more heart in ourselves. I heard somewhere that Tkachuk said that they prefer when they get no rest (well, games 1-3 are kinda proof of that), but don't you think that maybe taking some rest to heal up from all of the dings the guys have been getting wouldn't be better? Like, for the love of Christ, the Panthers actually have a problem in closing out series. It always seems like Game 4 is always a guaranteed loss if we go up 3-0. Fucking get it together, man. You're almost there to the cup again, don't fucking falter now.
Third round sweep, not good for NHL revenue. Which in term effects salary cap. NHL first and for most a business, then entertainment..
No worries boys! Onto the next game. Only thing that pissed me off was the no penalty shot we should have had.

What a strange game….
At first, I saw the 3–0 score and thought they’d finally figured out how to beat Bobrovsky. Then I watched the highlights — two of those were empty-netters. Honestly, it felt more like Florida slipped than Carolina dominated… you get the idea.
A wake up call. Good that this happened. Florida doesn’t want to go into the finals too rested and thinking they are going to walk in and hoist the cup.
A disgrace of a performance looked fixed how many times did they pass instead of shoot seriously looked like a fix game

Carolina played up much closer – to a man …. stifling, frustrating the Panthers offense. Bob played in goal good enough to win though.
Cats hit the post a couple of times. Game was closer than final score indicates. Canes did play with desperation, so give them credit.
Canes have nothing to lose….dangerous position. This will go 6 or 7.
Our Panthers were a bit complacent. We’ve learned from this game, move on to the next. Keep the eye of the tiger boys, I mean, panther!

Winning is hard. We didn’t have the best game but not the worst. However, Canes came out and did exactly what they needed to stay alive. Not convinced the outcome of this series will be any different, though. Go Cats!
The Canes were not just going to lay off from trying to get eliminated but unfortunately for them their to deep in a hole to try to comeback and try to tie up this series against a team like FLA that’s well too experienced.
I love this Coach! Best in the business. I love how he talks, and boy is he funny, but serious too.

They have won 7 of the last 9 games. 4 straight. They were going to have an off night. We expect perfection sometimes. We will see a bounce back.
Just how many times do we need to 'learn' this same exact lesson? We've had a game like this every round so far. All of them AT HOME. A 4-3 record at home is a big concern, especially when we HOPEFULLY get to the finals. You're just giving teams massive chances to reverse sweep, why? Maybe the Canes cant do it but the Oilers sure as hell will. Just odd this team can pummel Toronto and Carolina 4 games in a row and then get absolutely worked at home. That's some undisciplined play right there. Yeah, we were down 3 big starters but our top line generated no offense. Only person who gave it their all was Bob.
If they cant close this out in 5, I dont see them winning it in 6 either.
